Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't found the going easy at Juventus of late.

Maurizio Sarri has subbed him off in both of the club's last two games, but the Portuguese certainly proved his boss wrong tonight against Lithuania.

After opening the scoring from the penalty spot, Ronaldo lashed home a superb second goal from outside the box.

The Lithuanian goalkeeper didn't stand a chance!

There have been schools of thought that the great man's powers are starting to wane out in Turin, but he is still more than capable of the spectacular.

The onus is now on Sarri, as the Italian manager simply has to find a system for Ronaldo to play in sooner rather than later.

Whether that means going against his principles or sacrificing Gonzalo Higuain, the Bianconeri will simply be a better team with a fully firing Ronaldo.
