The ending of the Thursday Night Football game between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers turned into utter chaos after Myles Garrett used a helmet as a weapon to attack Mason Rudolph on the head. The Cleveland Browns defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-7 on Thursday night, keeping their playoff hopes alive in the AFC North. However, the only thing people will be talking about after the game is what happened in the closing minutes between Browns' Myles Garrett and Steelers' Mason Rudolph. After sacking Rudolph on a play, Garrett then proceeded to rip off his helmet and then use it as a weapon to club the Pittsburgh quarterback on the head.Garrett wrestled Rudolph to the ground long after he completed a short pass on a meaningless play, resulting in Rudolph getting his hand on Garrett's helmet first as the players grappled.

Garrett was able to get back on his feet first, to which he then yanked Rudolph's helmet off his head and swinging it violently, hitting the quarterback on the top of the head.

The Steelers quarterback threw his hands up in the air in disbelief, and Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey threw a couple of punches and kicks in the direction of the Browns defender as Steelers guard David DeCastro tackled him to the ground in an attempt to stop the fight.

Garrett, Pouncey, and Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi were ejected for the incident. Ogunjobi rushed to the incident and pushed Rudolph to the ground after he walked away from the incident.

Garrett said after the game, according to ESPN: "I lost my cool and I regret it. It's going to come back to hurt our team.

"The guys who jumped into the scrum, I appreciate my team having my back, but it never should have gotten to that point. It's on me."

Rudolph said after the game on the incident: "I thought it was pretty cowardly and bush league. I'm not going to back down from any bully.

"I felt like I had a bone to pick with him. I appreciate the line always having my back, but I was angry."

The NFL is now expected to hand out hefty fines and suspensions to the players involved in the incident, with Garrett likely receiving a lengthy suspension. Many are calling for him to be suspended for the rest of the season.
