2019's Survivor Series will make history as it will be the first time that NXT will compete at the event that has usually been Raw vs SmackDown.

Out of the six matches confirmed for this year's Survivor Series so far, NXT superstars will compete in five of them, including the traditional Survivor Series elimination matches for men and women.

Survivor Series has always provided WWE fans with iconic moments over the years, from the WWE debuts of The Undertaker, The Rock, and Sting, all the way to the Montreal Screwjob.

However, many fans watch Survivor Series each year solely for the traditional 5-on-5 elimination matches. Since NXT stars are involved in 2019, making it 5-on-5-on-5 this year will be no different.

When it comes to picking a dream Survivor Series team, there's plenty of superstars to choose from, but let's have a crack at picking a dream Survivor Series team.

Just missing the cut: Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Hulk Hogan

The Undertaker - Captain

As much as WrestleMania is The Undertaker's pay-per-view, so is Survivor Series. After making his WWE debut at Survivor Series in 1990, The Deadman has competed in the joint-most Survivor Series matches alongside Kane at 18.

He has achieved a 13-5 record at the pay-per-view, so he's definitely someone who can be relied upon to get a result at the show. Basically, if you're facing The Phenom at Survivor Series, there's a good chance you're going to lose, so he's definitely in the team.

Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels has competed in the most Survivor Series Elimination matches at 11, and has a record of 5-6. While it is a losing record, where HBK shines is performance in those matches.

Michaels has the third most eliminations in Survivor Series matches with 12, and he has also survived the match three times, each time as a captain as well, most notably giving Team DX the clean sweep victory over Team Rated RKO in 2006. Watch out for that Sweet Chin Music.

Randy Orton

Randy Orton is essentially the king of Survivor Series, as he has the most wins in Survivor Series Elimination match history with five.

He also has 15 eliminations to his name, has survived the most times at five, and has also been the sole survivor the joint-most times alongside The Ultimate Warrior at a total of three times. The Viper usually strikes with a vicious bite at Survivor Series.

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns might be the most debatable superstar on this team, but he's already building a strong Survivor Series resume, and he still has plenty of years to add to it.

Several superstars have eliminated three men in one match, but Reigns has nearly taken out an entire team by himself. In 2013, he eliminated Jimmy Uso, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, and Rey Mysterio in the same match, giving him the record of the most eliminations in a single match with four.

The Big Dog is a rising star on the Survivor Series scene, and it doesn't look like he will be slowing down anytime soon.

The Ultimate Warrior

While The Ultimate Warrior only competed in four Survivor Series matches in the WWE, he managed a unique feat of winning in each one of those matches.

Warrior also survived in each one of those four matches, and he has also been the sole survivor in matches the joint-most times alongside Orton at a total of three times. If he had stayed around in WWE for longer than he did, he would probably have a better Survivor Series record than The Viper does today.

With 2019's Survivor Series just around the corner, there's a chance for Orton and Reigns to add to their resume, but there's also a chance for the stars of NXT to make their case for the Survivor Series dream team in the future.
