Adam Lallana's time with Liverpool may be coming to an end after six years at the club.

The 31-year-old moved to Anfield in 2014 and has enjoyed a mixed time to say the least.

His first season was a disaster for everyone involved - although, it was hardly Lallana's fault as Liverpool put together a collection of strikers who couldn't score goals.

Things got much better once Jurgen Klopp arrived and Lallana became an integral part of his Liverpool side, particularly in pressing.

His 2016/17 season was fantastic as he scored eight Premier League goals from midfield and transferred his performances to the national side.

That was recognised as Lallana was named England Player of the Year for 2016.

Unfortunately, things fell apart and injuries limited Lallana to just 31 appearances over the next two seasons - most from the substitutes bench.

And so, with his contract up at the end of the season, Lallana could well move on and he can start negotiating with foreign clubs in January.

Bizarrely, one of those clubs looking at the injury-struck midfielder is Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Mirror.

They apparently seem him as a replacement for Edinson Cavani, who is linked with a move to LA Galaxy (but certainly hasn't agreed a move as the article implies).

It certainly seems like a strange move - why would they sign a midfielder to replace Cavani? - but it's one that helps any FFP pressure.

The Mirror say that Liverpool would look at using the money saved by losing Lallana's £7m-a-year wages to move for Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser.

From the Reds' point of view, that seems like good business.

As for PSG, we'll just have to wait and see.
