Ferrari drivers Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc have collided and crashed out of the Brazilian Grand Prix, with just five laps remaining. At the iconic Interlagos circuit, it was a race full of excitement and controversy throughout, but things really exploded into life with just the final five laps remaining. With the Ferrari's battling for fourth position, Charles Leclerc breezed past his more experienced teammate in a fine move through the Curva do Sol. Coming onto the Reta Oposta straight however, Vettel used his DRS to slingshot alongside his teammate, before the two cars made contact - leaving both drivers with a puncture, and putting an end to their respective days. Replays appeared to show the contact being initiated by Vettel, who seemed to turn into his teammate unexpectedly after the cars had come alongside one another.

The four-time world champion was as quick to shift the blame as ever, however, immediately launching into a foul-mouthed tirade to his mechanics.

This incident is sure to add further fuel to the fire already growing within F1's most iconic team, as Leclerc and Vettel continue to clash both on and off the track.

If Vettel is indeed to be found guilty once again, it may also add further fuel to the speculation that the Scuderia may look to cut their losses on the driver, and bring the search for his replacement forwards.

Both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have been linked in recent weeks, as has Daniel Ricciardo in the past, but who the team should move for - should they choose to lose Vettel - remains a hot topic of debate.
