Bristol Rovers boss Dave Penney will have Cian Bolger and Chris Lines available for the clash with Oldham.

Defender Bolger missed Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Leyton Orient as he was serving a one-match ban following his sending off against Rochdale.

Midfielder Lines makes returns after missing the last two games due to a bruised toe.

However, the match comes too soon for midfielder Stuart Campbell, who has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury.

He is close to a return, though, while on-loan Brentford defender David McCracken is struggling with a similar problem and remains sidelined.

Rovers are on a miserable run of form having lost their last five matches and have slipped to the bottom of the npower League One table.

New Oldham recruit Sam Mantom will go straight into the squad.

The West Brom midfielder, who turns 19 on Sunday, has signed a one-month emergency loan to boost the Latics as they look to bounce back from Tuesday`s 1-0 home defeat to Carlisle.

In a further fillip for Dickov, midfielder Dale Stephens is recovering well from the virus which has kept him out of the past two games.

Dickov has revealed that a player he rates as one of the best in npower League One could come back into the reckoning.

Striker Lewis Alessandra is also edging closer to full fitness and came off the bench against Carlisle but defender Reuben Hazell completes a two-match ban.
