Seven years ago today, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose all made their debuts on WWE's main roster as The Shield.Little did they know at the time that they would go on to become one of WWE's most iconic stables in history, and they would also go on to have successful singles careers after the group split too.The Shield made their WWE debut at Survivor Series in 2012, coming to the aid of CM Punk in the show's main event. At the time of The Hounds of Justice's debut, Punk was defending the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match vs John Cena and Ryback.Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose would take out Ryback by delivering the Triple Powerbomb through a table to The Big Guy, a finisher that would go on to be a signature move of The Shield.

Punk would then slither into the ring to pin Cena to retain his WWE title, but all fans were talking about after 2012's Survivor Series was the debut of The Hounds of Justice.

Celebrating seven years since the stable's WWE debut, Reigns sent out a heartfelt tweet to his fellow Shield brothers Rollins and Ambrose, who now goes by Jon Moxley in AEW.

The Big Dog tweeted: "7 years ago. 3 hungry dudes ready to take over the world debuted in @WWE. Multiple world championships. Main events around the world. Money made. Families grown.

"Taking our own paths but will always be brothers. #TheShield"

Rollins responded to The Big Dog's tweet with a "fist bump" emoji.

While Moxley is yet to say anything on social media about the anniversary, we bet he has the same feelings about The Shield's WWE debut as his Shield brothers.

As previously mentioned, The Shield have now gone their separate ways, as Moxley is with AEW, while Rollins is on Raw and Reigns is on SmackDown.

However, they'll always have their time together as The Hounds of Justice, and it's clear to see it will always have a special place in their hearts.
