Huge 'Modern Warfare' Battle Royale mode details revealed in datamine

Data-mining games is common nowadays, with people using it to uncover information which was previously withheld from public knowledge.

Leaks from the game data can often reveal a large amount of juicy clues as to what we can expect next, and that's exactly what's happened in the last couple of days.

For a long time now, it's been rumoured that Modern Warfare would be receiving a Battle Royale mode of some description, but until now we'd had very little actual information on it.

While not confirmed, some people have suggested that the Modern Warfare Battle Royale mode could be released as a free-to-play standalone experience, with Activision potentially using this as a way of enticing more people to buy the "full" game.

In public, however, Infinity Ward and Activision have kept a tight lip on the situation.

So far they've been telling the Call of Duty community that they were focusing more on traditional multiplayer modes, but they have never ruled out the possibility of a Battle Royale mode.

So, Battle Royale fans will be pleased to know that Redditor u/Senescallo has revealed a huge amount of information which suggests that the mode will be making its way into the game very soon.

The leak details the names of various zones in the battle royale's map, including; an airfield, dam, gulag, hospital, train yard, TV station and many more awesome sounding places.

The leak also reveals a list of player perks, the names of various loot and armour, and even suggests that the player count for each match could be as high as 200 people.

It also claims that Modern Warfare's Battle Royale mode will offer solo, duos and four-player matches, including private and public games.

There's also an awesome sounding method of respawning your teammates, where you can obtain a respawn token, drop their body near an ambulance, and then the dead player will enter a 'Gulag queue' for a chance to win a 1v1 and respawn into the match.

The map has also apparently been leaked, and yes, it's absolutely huge.

Of course not everything you see on Reddit is accurate, so we can't promise that all of this information is accurate. It'd be best to wait until we get official word from Activision or Infinity Ward on the subject before we get too excited.
