It's 2019 and Floyd Mayweather is still talking about making a return.

On Friday morning it emerged that 'Money' was planning on taking yet another dramatic U-turn on his decision to retire by making his third comeback.

Since his official 'retirement', the American has gone on to fight Conor McGregor and then Tenshin Nasukawa. Both fights were pretty farcical, with Notorious swapping UFC for boxing and being defeated, and then the poor Japanese kickboxer being absolutely humiliated in his own backyard during an exhibition fight.

Now, Mayweather has confirmed that he's working on a project with UFC president Dana White ahead of 2020.

As expected, this has got many people talking, with discussions going on about what it could possibly mean.

A rematch with McGregor? The Manny Pacquiao rematch? A fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov? Who knows!

Well, another possible option that has emerged is a fight with one of the YouTube sensations KSI or Logan Paul.

The internet stars did battle a fortnight ago in their professional debuts, with the Brit KSI winning via a split decision, with Paul being docked two points for illegal moves during the fight.

Although the YouTube fight at Staples Center was pretty laughable, even with Eddie Hearn promoting it, Betfair have put a price on the two being Mayweather's opponent next year.

You can get odds of 33/1 for either Paul or KSI to share the ring with Mayweather next year.

Surely worth a couple of quid....after all, you never know with Floyd Mayweather.

You would imagine that if it was boxing rules, KSI or Logan Paul would put on a better showing than Nasukawa did, who is strictly a kickboxer, but it would still make for a very laughable fight and event.

Mayweather, albeit getting on a bit, is still a 50-0 fighter, defeating some of the biggest names in world boxing throughout his illustrious career.

Although a 51-0 record and yet another massive payday would be too good to turn down for Mayweather, no one would really want to see him share a ring with YouTubers.

ANALYSIS
GIVEMESPORT's Alex Batt says:

Although KSI and Logan Paul undoubtedly brought new fans into the world of boxing with their spectacle on November 9, many people will certainly want it to be a one-off thing rather than a regular occurrence.

Yes, Logan Paul had ambitions of being a world champion one day, ambitions that were backed by Shannon Briggs, and yes KSI said he'd happily fight journeymen, but surely they should go back to their roots now and stick to YouTube.

Floyd Mayweather would just school either one of them in the ring and would have fun doing it. That's not even going into the technical side of it with weight classes being an obvious issue.

No doubt KSI and Logan Paul was a HUGE success for what it was, but let's not get silly. We do not want to see Floyd Mayweather fight either of them.
