Liverpool scored YET ANOTHER late goal to beat Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Wilfried Zaha thought he had rescued a point for Palace with eight minutes remaining.

But Liverpool just don’t go away, do they?

The Reds went up the other end and Roberto Firmino tucked the ball away after a scramble from a corner to give them a late, late win.

Palace thought they led in the first-half when James Tomkins scored at the back post but it was ruled out for a push on Dejan Lovren.

After the break, Sadio Mane had put the league leaders ahead.

But it looked as though Jurgen Klopp’s side had thrown away two points when they allowed Zaha to equalise.

Firmino, though, rescued the away side as the ball fell to him inside the box after some pinball.

It was another HUGE three points for Liverpool as they continue their remarkable start to the campaign. They've now picked up 37 points after 12 wins from their opening 13 matches.

They might not be playing to their best right now, but they just keep picking up vital wins.

Meanwhile, on the south coast, Leicester made light work of Brighton to stay within eight points of the runaway leaders. Goals from Ayoze Perez and a Jamie Vardy penalty kept them in the title race.

Both Liverpool and Leicester can now sit back and relax as they watch Manchester City and Chelsea do battle in the evening kick-off.

Whatever happens, Liverpool and Leicester will occupy the top two spots for another week.
