Arsenal's poor form continued on Saturday afternoon as they drew 2-2 to Southampton at the Emirates Stadium.

It could have been even worse, though.

With the game going into stoppage time, Arsenal were 2-1 down and staring at an embarrassing defeat.

But Alexandre Lacazette popped up with virtually the last kick of the game to salvage a point for his side.

Unai Emery's side have now won just one of their last eight games and are winless from their last five Premier League games.

They are seventh with 18 points from their opening 13 games and are eight points off the top four.

Unai Emery has been the subject of jokes after usually starting interviews with the media by saying 'good evening'.

And a Sky Sports reporter added salt to his wounds by using those same words in his post-match interview with Emery.

The reporter began:"Unai, good evening, it's not been a good evening though for you and Arsenal again."

Ouch. That's probably a little bit unnecessary.

Some found the reporter's comments funny, while others slated him.

@UnitedDaily9 said: "This is just bullying from the interviewer.. Disgrace".

"It's disgraceful from the interviewer to knowingly include 'good evening' to sensationalise the interview," @SirAlexFutbol wrote.

While @PhillyLowry tweeted: "Embarrassing from that reporter. No class."

It didn't stop Emery from replying with 'good evening' himself, though...

Arsenal were booed off the pitch as the final whistle went and there were some 'we want Emery out' chants.

The Spanish manager addressed the behaviour of Arsenal fans after the game.

"I understand how the supporters feel about the team and me," he said.

"I'm going to work hard for them to come back and put in a good performance where we use our quality to show we can be better.

"Today they [the fans] helped us but we didn't give them the feedback to show our capacity to battle.

"My job is to analyse and find solutions. We need to recover confidence. One good result will give us that confidence to achieve that performance.

"The best 20 minutes of the whole season came at the start of the second half but they scored when we were better maybe.

"We draw at the last moment but it's not enough."
