Gareth Bale annoyed a lot of Real Madrid fans with his actions for Wales in midweek.

After Bale helped Wales qualify for Euro 2020, Bale was seen celebrating with a banner that read: "Wales, golf, Real Madrid - in that order."

Many in Spain condemned him for his behaviour, with some even calling on the club to terminate his contract.

Real Madrid took no action, though, and Bale was on the bench for their game against Real Sociedad on Saturday evening.

The Welshman was booed as his name was read out on the tannoy before the game.

Watch the boos he received before the game below:

And he also received a hostile reception as he came on.

Zidane decided to bring Bale on in the 63rd minute. As Bale warmed up, he was booed by his own fans.

And those boos got even louder when he made his way onto the pitch.

One fan even held up a banner which read: "Rodrygo. Vini. Lucas. Bale. In that order".

Every single one of Bale's touches were booed as well.

He actually had a pretty good cameo when he came on, playing a role as Luka Modric made it 3-1 to Los Blancos.

But Real Madrid fans have made their feelings very clear about him.

It seems almost certain that the Welshman's stint at Los Blancos will come to an end in January.

With Bale's help, Real Madrid managed to overcome an early setback to win 3-1.

Ramos' mistake gifted Willian Jose a second minute goal. But Real Madrid fought back well and won comfortably after goals from Karim Benzema, Federico Valverde and Modric.

With the three points, Zidane's side moved back level with Barcelona at the top of La Liga with 28 points.
