WWE Survivor Series results: Dominick Mysterio steals the show as he attacks Brock Lesnar

Rey and Dominick Mysterio hit a 619 on Brock Lesnar

It was all about brand warfare in Chicago as Raw, SmackDown and NXT all rolled into the Allstate Arena to test their mettles against each other and see who the best brand really was.

Unlike previous years, the Kickoff Show matches actually counted for something, and after the three that occurred we were tied up at one win for each brand.

First, SmackDown's Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler won a tag team Battle Royal, last eliminating Raw's Street Profits.

Then, NXT's Lio Rush successfully defended his Cruiserweight Championship against Akira Tozawa and Kalisto, and finally Raw's Tag Team Champions - Viking Raiders - took down Undisputed Era and The New Day to make it level going into the main show.

The first inter-brand match on the main show saw the five-on-five-on-five women's elimination match, and NXT took the lead with a decisive victory.

Despite Io Shirai and Candice LeRae being taken to the back, feeling the effects from WarGames the night before, Rhea Ripley managed to last pin Sasha Banks to pick up the win, with the assistance of Shirai and LeRae who returned to ringside.

NXT then took a lead which could only be levelled and not overtaken, as the three secondary singles champions squared off.

After U.S. Champion AJ Styles dropped Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura with a Phenomenal Forearm, NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong stole the pin-fall on the Japanese star to give NXT their third win of the evening.

Then came the men's elimination match, which didn't get off to the best starts as NXT UK Champion WALTER was sent packing first by Drew McIntyre, which the Chicago crowd responded to with expletives - it was the Austrian's first pin-fall loss in the company.

The likes of Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and Matt Riddle all also were defeated early, but the 'Big Dog' - Roman Reigns - was the last man standing.

He pinned Keith Lee after his second-rope Moonsault went wrong, hitting the NXT star with a Spear to give the the blue brand a much-needed victory.

This match was the making of Lee though, who had just pinned Seth Rollins clean as a whistle to make the anti-Rollins crowd extremely happy!

The final Raw v SmackDown v NXT match was the show-closer and it pitted all the Women's Champions against each other - Becky Lynch, Bayley and Shayna Baszler.

Raw were out of the race for brand warfare, and Bayley needed to win to secure SmackDown a draw.

She would be the one tapping out though as Baszler locked in her Kirifuda Clutch, making SmackDown's champ submit, but she wouldn't be the one standing tall as Lynch left her mark after the match, leg-dropping Baszler through a table.

Inter-brand matches weren't the only courses WWE fans were served though, as all the world titles were on the line.

24 hours after putting his body on the line inside WarGames, Adam Cole successfully defended his NXT Championship against Pete Dunne, reversing his Bitter End superbly into a Panama Sunrise in the closing stages.

Then, The Fiend would put his Universal Championship on the line against Daniel Bryan.

Despite Bray Wyatt's alter-ego being the most over superstar on the main roster, Bryan managed to get the fans on his side once again.

But summoning the YES chant wasn't enough to get a victory, with Wyatt making Bryan pass out to the Mandible Claw.

In the final world title bout of the night, Brock Lesnar faced Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship in a No Holds Barred match - but it was Rey's son Dominick who stole the show.

Running to the ring with a white towel in his hand, Lesnar soon disposed of that but Rey and Dominick would end up double teaming Brock with a couple of low-blows, a double 619 and an Eddie Guerrero-esque Frog Splash from Dominick - which incited a huge reaction from the crowd.

It was inevitably not enough to put Lesnar down though, and after taking Dominick out of the equation, he F5'd Rey into oblivion to retain his title.
