Brand supremacy was secured at Survivor Series in Chicago, and the 'third brand' in WWE ended the night on top. They only went live and two hours in September, but NXT got the one-up over Raw and SmackDown, and confirmed the dominance that they'd showed in recent weeks.New stars in Rhea Ripley and Keith Lee have been created, and whether they stay on NXT or end up on Raw or SmackDown further down the line, fans who don't watch on Wednesday night regularly will know who they are now.One superstar who hasn't had the easiest of rides though and has seen his stock fall is one Seth Rollins. It was only earlier in 2019 where Rollins was the man to dethrone Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, and he had full fan support at that time.

Lesnar ended up taking the title bank after he cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase, but Rollins once again took down the Beast Incarnate at SummerSlam.

It was his match with Braun Strowman at Clash Of Champions a month later though where fans noticeably started to become unhappy, and the boos have become increasingly louder with each passing week.

WWE even went to extreme lengths to cover up boos in a pre-taped episode of Raw in England earlier this month, but there was no hiding place during Survivor Series.

Rollins' first on-screen appearance backstage with Kevin Owens saw the boos ring out, and they were even louder when he led Team Raw to the ring.

But then he eliminated the home-town favourite Mustafa Ali, which did not help matters one bit.

And when he then got rid of NXT star Tommaso Ciampa from the match, the crowd became even more vociferous.

It was Keith Lee who cleanly pinned Rollins in the end to eliminate Team Raw from the match, and the crowd were visibly delighted when he was no longer in the bout.

It's easy to have sympathy for Rollins as he's been put in a difficult position by WWE, but his character has become very stale the further we've progressed into the year.

With Owens mentioning that Rollins has betrayed a team before, there was a brief tease that a Rollins heel turn may be on the agenda.

It didn't happen at Survivor Series, but as we get closer to 2020, we may end up seeing a heel Seth maniacally cackling on a weekly basis once again - after all, it would be best for business.
