Deontay Wilder has teased fans into thinking that the Fight Night gaming franchise could be making a sensational return after nearly 10 years out.

Much has been said about the lack of options when it comes to picking a boxing game. No one, it seems, has been more frustrated by these lack of options than the WBC champ himself.

The 34-year-old took part in GQ magazine's undercover series and responded to random questions online posed to him by supporters through social media.

One Instagram user, in particular, raised the issue about the lack of games in the sport that got Wilder fidgeting in his seat, echoing his supporter's frustrations.

He said: "Man, I'm saying the same thing! Where in the hell is them?

"I'm looking for the video games as well too. But I think have no fear, because I think video games are coming soon.

"We got a lot of talks about video games, especially boxing. So, I'm looking forward to maybe seeing myself, playing myself in a video game.

"My power better be all the way up to 100."

And who can argue? Especially, seeing as though we’re fresh off the bat of seeing another ridiculous knockout on Saturday.

In his rematch with Luis Ortiz, the American showcased his absolute weapon of a right hand once again.

With many current fighters, pundits and supporters having given the first six rounds all to Ortiz, it looked as though Wilder might be in for a tough night.

But, as he’s done time and time again throughout his illustrious career, the Bronze Bomber managed to deliver the cruellest of blows in a split second to end the fight with a powerful right hand.

So, Wilder has admitted that he likes to game. Well, there has been plenty of speculation that the popular franchise ‘Fight Night’ could be making its unlikely return.

The last edition hit our Xbox 360s, PlayStation 3s and iOS devices in 2011.

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has also been a keen advocate of seeing the series make a comeback.

Wilder’s next chance to showcase his supposed 100 power is likely to come in February when he is set for another rematch, but this time with The Gypsy King Tyson Fury.

Both have claimed that the fight is on.
