A second full decade of Premier League football is coming to a close - and so much has changed in 10 years.

We entered the 2010s with Chelsea winning the league under Carlo Ancelotti, Didier Drogba bagging the Golden Boot and Manchester United adapting to life after Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fast forward nine years and Liverpool are leading the way over champions Manchester City, Jamie Vardy has summited the scoring charts and Arsenal have gone two years without Arsene Wenger.

However, one thing that has remained consistent between 2010 and 2019 is the presence of astonishing goals.

And as part of Sky Sports' celebration of the last decade in the Premier League, they presented Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher with 10 of the best strikes on Monday Night Football.

10 Premier League goals of the decade

Selecting just 10 must have been incredibly tough and with some 'Goal of the Season' winners being forced to miss out, you know the standard is dizzyingly high. Check out the final list below:

1. Wayne Rooney vs Manchester City (2011)

Eight years on and this goal still defies description. To produce arguably the greatest bicycle kick in Premier League history to win a Manchester Derby makes this an obvious choice on the list.

2. Peter Crouch vs Manchester City (2012)

Not the kind of goal you'd expect from Crouch, but the angle and distance from which he volleyed this past Joe Hart makes it a bona fide Premier League classic.

3. Papiss Cisse vs Chelsea (2012)

Cisse might be a one-season wonder, but this goal will be replayed for years and years. Roberto Carlos would have been proud of the 'swaz' that the ex-Newcastle man channeled for this strike.

4. Robin van Persie vs Aston Villa (2013)

With every sport that involves a ball, there always seems to be a 'sweet spot' to it and seldom has that been more apparent than when Van Persie walloped this goal past Brad Guzan.

5. Jack Wilshere vs Norwich City (2013)

Arguably the greatest team goal in Premier League history. The way Wilshere, Giroud and Santi Cazorla combined shows exactly why football is known as 'the beautiful game.'

6. Pajtim Kasami vs Crystal Palace (2013)

Kasami may not have been a hit in the Premier League, but England's top division will always be thankful for him scoring a volley that Martin Jol decreed was better than Marco van Basten's.

7. Olivier Giroud vs Crystal Palace (2017)

Just a few days after Henrikh Mkhitaryan's own scorpion kick, the Arsenal striker improved the technique by tenfold and bagged a FIFA Puskas award for his acrobatic efforts.

8. Emre Can vs Watford (2017)

While you can see most bicycle kicks wound up from a mile away, this Can special was almost a reflex and it controversially won that year's Premier League Goal of the Season.

9. Andros Townsend vs Manchester City (2018)

You know it's a good goal when you're nominated for the Puskas Award and Townsend deserved his invite for the power he generated on his volley alone.

10. Vincent Kompany vs Leicester City (2019)

This was like a golfer teeing off with a 400-yard drive, only Kompany's right leg was the wood and the ball was stopped by the Etihad Stadium net, not a putting green or Kasper Schmeichel.

Neville and Carragher's picks

What an incredible list of goals, but which one is your favourite?

Neville picked out Giroud from the ten, noting that he'd never seen a goal of the likes, but was keen to highlight Sergio Aguero's title-winning goal in 2012 for sheer significance.

Carragher flirted with the idea of selecting Kasami, but eventually opted for Crouch and presenter David Jones picked Can's bicycle kick as his number one.

It's a very difficult choice to make and no matter where you stand on the debate, you can be sure that the Premier League will continue to produce worldies in the decades to come.
