What if Netflix had shows entirely dedicated to football teams?

It’s a question that, let’s face it, none of us have ever asked ourselves.

But a YouTuber has imagined how the streaming service might look if it only featured shows about football clubs in the Champions League.

YouTube page ‘Plaantik’ posted a video back in September produced by Tawsif Akkas, and, while it’s taken a while to blow up, we’re glad it did.

It includes unique trailers and posters that put a spin on popular Netflix shows.

‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ becomes ‘Anfield One-Nine’, a show that follows Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool players as they try to win the Champions League in 2019.

‘Blancos’ is Real Madrid’s version of ‘Narcos’, with the description reading: “It’s time for Los Blancos to take back what’s rightfully theirs… even if the world is against them.”

The creativity is off the charts. Other shows include ‘Suits’, with David Beckham as the lead character, and ‘The Office’, with David Moyes as David Brent.

A fan of Peaky Blinders? Well, you’re bound to enjoy ‘Pique Blinders’. There’s also ‘The Spy’ with none other than Marcelo Bielsa.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Unai Emery are unfortunately the protagonists of ‘The Departed’.

We also see promos for ‘Oranje is the new Orange’ starring the Netherlands International team, ‘Thank You For Smoking’ featuring Maurizio Sarri and a Black Mirror take on VAR.

The Travis Scott documentary ‘Look Mom I Can Fly’ centres around Cristiano Ronaldo.

The video, which is nearly three minutes long, then ends with perhaps the best piece of editing.

We’re turned upside-down with ‘Stranger Games’, where the Champions League group stage fixtures are shown.

“The greatest of games are the ones with the strangest of results,” the caption reads.

Outstanding work, Plaantik.
