A lot has been said about Cristiano Ronaldo's free-kick record at Juventus. The Portuguese forward was a brilliant set-piece taker earlier on in his career but has lost his touch in recent times.Ronaldo has not yet scored a free-kick for Juventus but still takes the fair share of them. That is despite Juventus having two other dead ball specialists in the shape of Miralem Pjanic and Paulo Dybala. And the latter proved exactly why Ronaldo shouldn't be taking the majority of free-kicks with a quite ridiculous effort on Tuesday night.

Juventus and Atletico Madrid were locked in a stalemate going into half-time stoppage time.

But the Italian side had one final chance to go into the break with the lead when they got a free-kick on the edge of the box.

It looked an impossible angle to shoot. With Dybala standing over the ball, it seemed logical just to cross the ball in.

But Dybala went for goal and he lashed an effort past Jan Oblak and into the back of the net.

Watch it below:

My word. What a goal. That is one of the best free-kicks of the season so far.

It proved to be a vital goal as Juventus went on to win the game 1-0.

With that result, the Old Lady have secured top spot in Group D.

No one will want to play them in the knockout rounds, that's for sure.
