Arsenal are in trouble right now and the club hit a new low on Thursday night - quite literally.

Supporters decided to stay away for their Europa League game against Eintracht Frankfurt, meaning there was reportedly a record-low attendance at Emirates Stadium.

Those Gunners fans who did attend were left unimpressed by what they saw over 90 minutes, as Unai Emery's side slipped to another defeat.

Despite taking the lead through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a second-half double from Daichi Kamada saw Frankfurt turn the game around and leave north London with three points.

No goalkeeper in the world is stopping that one. Kamada's second was also impressive, as the midfielder drilled his effort into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

Arsenal were unable to find an equaliser as they suffered another poor result and their performance led to some fans holding up 'Emery Out' signs.

According to GOAL journalist Charles Watts, there was actually less than 20,000 inside the Emirates to watch the game, which easily beats the previous lowest attendance - 25,909 against BATE Borisov.

"Yep, no doubt about it. This is the lowest crowd that has ever been in this place [Emirates Stadium] for a first-team game. It is empty. 20,000 max," he tweeted.

That's certainly a worrying reflection of where Arsenal are right now. Check out some images of the empty ground below:

Although many fans decided to stay away in protest of Unai Emery still being in the job, some also made their feelings clear in the stands.

TV cameras picked up a number of 'Emery Out' signs. Check out the image below:

There's clear dissolution throughout the fanbase right now and some fans were even hoping Arsenal would lose to Frankfurt before kickoff.

They have done just that, and this could be the final nail in Emery's coffin.
