Arsenal slumped to another disappointing defeat at home to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night. The Gunners are now winless in seven games and in truth, many supporters have been calling for Unai Emery to get the sack for some weeks now. But, it seems he still has at least one fan left. Following yesterday's 2-1 loss at Emirates Stadium, one Arsenal supporter actually called up talkSPORT to defend his manager. And the exchange he had with presenters Andy Goldstein and Jason Cundy was absolutely hilarious.Check out some of our favourite moments below.

Simon starts by calling out the rest of the fanbase for their behaviour, saying:

"For the first time in my life, I'm ashamed to be an Arsenal fan. In all my years, I've never seen booing and things like that. It's a disgrace."

The caller then claimed that he never wanted Arsene Wenger to be sacked and that he 'doesn't want Emery to go now'.

Simon then took aim at clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City, saying he doesn't want Arsenal to lose their identity by sacking managers.

Incredibly, when asked if he'd swap places with the Blues in the last 15 years, to achieve what they've achieved, the Arsenal supporter said 'absolutely not, no'.

He even had time to slate Gunners fans for their treatment of Granit Xhaka. Unbelievable. It's fair to say he's absolutely deluded. You can see the full clip below:

Simon's view is clearly one that very few other Arsenal fans share.

The overwhelming majority seem to think it's the right time for Emery to go and that was made clear on Thursday night.

Thousands of supporters stayed away from the match against Frankfurt in protest, leaving the Emirates less than half full, while some of those inside the ground held up 'Emery out' signs after going 2-1 down.

It seems the fanbase is turning toxic again and the sooner Arsenal sack their manager, the better. Sorry, Simon.
