YouTuber simulates outcome of Conor McGregor vs Donald Cerrone On EA Sports UFC 3

A YouTuber has simulated the upcoming megafight between Conor McGregor vs Donald Cerrone on EA Sports UFC 3.

Dana White revealed the fight had been confirmed saying that McGregor has signed on the dotted line after a lengthy hiatus:

“Conor has signed and Cowboy is ready to go.”

Cerrone currently holds the record for the most wins (23) and finishes (16) in the history of UFC but was beaten by Justin Gaethje in his last fight in September.

Now, to the simulation.

Cerrone emerges victorious on the night with McGregor tapping out in the fourth and final round.

The American locked in an armbar that “Notorious’ simply couldn’t bear and he eventually submitted.

The fight was in the Lightweight division as opposed to being at 170lbs, and took place at the iconic MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

And now back to reality.

McGregor’s highly anticipated UFC return is lined up to come against Cerrone at UFC 246 on January 18th.

This comes as a bitter blow to McGregor’s rival Dustin Poirier, who was angling for a rematch against the Irishman.

He was beaten by McGregor at featherweight in 2014 and reckons their rematch made more sense than facing Cerrone: “I respect Cowboy and everything he’s done but I do think he’s on the back end of his career.

“It’s ‘Cowboy,’ he can show up and submit or knock out Conor as well. I’m not counting the guy completely out but I do think that is a more favourable fight for him on his return.

“Fight a guy who’s been KO’d or TKO’d twice in his past two fights? I’m not a matchmaker. I think me and [McGregor] makes more sense.”

McGregor revealed he has plans to fight at least three times in 2020, facing either Nate Diaz or Jorge Masdival before challenging lightweight king Nurmagomedov.

UFC fans are thrilled with McGregor’s comeback and are looking forward to a potential fight with Nurmagomedov after their last fight at UFC 229 ended with both their teams brawling.

“I’m getting back in a good form. It’s important for me to get back in a good form. It’s very difficult to win year after year.” said McGregor.
