Divock Origi just loves playing against Everton.

The Belgian striker was a surprise inclusion in Liverpool's team for the game on Wednesday night.

But he showed Jurgen Klopp made the right decision when he netted after just six minutes.

Origi latched onto a superb ball from Sadio Mane, rounded Jordan Pickford and then put the ball in the empty net.

And he would make it 3-1 later in the half thanks to a quite exquisite touch.

Dejan Lovren fired a long ball over the top, which was brilliantly taken down by Origi.

He then composed himself and fired past Pickford again.

What a touch. And what a finish afterwards, touch.

That goal, the fourth of the night, was just one of SIX goals that were scored in the first half.

Origi got the ball rolling after six minutes, before Xherdan Shaqiri doubled Liverpool's advantage 11 minutes later.

Michael Keane pulled one back for Everton shortly after, only for Origi to score with that brilliant touch just after the half-hour mark.

Sadio Mane then thought he had given Liverpool a three-goal advantage going into the break, only for Richarlison to make it 4-2 with virtually the last kick of the first half.

Phew. What a breathless first 45 minutes at Anfield.
