Liverpool kept up their good form with a comfortable 5-2 victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby.Divock Origi (2), Sadio Mane, Xherdan Shaqiri and Gini Wijnaldum scored the goals as Liverpool dismantled their fierce rivals. The match did have a derby feel to it as there were some strong challenges going in from both sides. And there was also an altercation between Andy Robertson and Tom Davies in the opening 15 minutes.Robertson appeared to deliberately elbow his opponent while he was on the floor.

Watch it below:

A bit naughty from Robertson. He could genuinely have been sent off for that.

Davies, understandably, was not happy at all with the Scotsman.

He immediately got up and squared up to Robertson.

But Robertson was in no mood for a fight. Instead, he just decided to wind up Davies even further by laughing in his face.

The 25-year-old then continued to laugh at Davies as he was pushed away by Mason Holgate.

Robertson's reaction to Davies squaring up to him has gone down very well with Liverpool fans.

"Gotta love our crazy Scottish b**tard!" @oskargw wrote.

@wellhellodelly wrote: "If he played for any other club I’d be fuming... but I just can’t help but love Robertson".

@LOggers109 also loved it, writing: "The biggest sh**house, and I love him so much for it."

And Robertson's action were also met with approval from @ian_delamare. He wrote: "He actually elbowed him in the back of the head on the way down too, proper sh**housery. The man is a legend."

That was Robertson's 100th game for Liverpool.

He's fully established himself as a fan favourite, and it's behaviour like this which makes him so popular among Liverpool fans.

The left-back described took to Twitter following the whistle, describing the game as the 'perfect night'.

"100 games for Liverpool. Derby win. Celebration with the GOAT (Divock Origi). Perfect night", his tweet read.

There's no doubt that Robertson will be an important player for the rest of the season as Liverpool go in search of their first Premier League title.
