"We have to change from doubters to believers."
Jurgen Klopp's famous message to Liverpool fans the day he signed up to manage the club way back in October 2015 still rings loud around the Anfield halls.

The German has taken the club from mid-table mediocrity to European glory and they could be on their way to finally end that painful Premier League drought.

Klopp has completely transformed the squad into one of the most feared units on the planet with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk all finishing in the top five of the Ballon d'Or voting.

Anfield has become an absolute fortress with the Reds unbeaten in 49 league games at their Merseyside castle.

In total, Liverpool are now 32 games unbeaten in the Premier League - a club record - having thumped their city rivals Everton on Wednesday night.

The derby drubbing was Klopp's 100th league win since taking charge of the Reds and, as is the way with this incredible group, he did it in record-breaking time.

Klopp became the fastest Liverpool manager to achieve the landmark, taking just 159 games to do so, usurping Rafael Benitez, who took 189 games, in the process.

In fact, Klopp is the second-fastest manager to 100 wins ever, falling behind only Jose Mourinho (142) in the rankings.

Even the great Sir Alex Ferguson is unable to match Klopp's numbers, needing 162 games to bring up his century while Arsenal legend Arsene Wenger took a whole 20 games more than the German.

When viewed in that context, it becomes crystal clear that Klopp is something rather special.

He was deservedly named the coach of the year at FIFA's The Best awards and has already written his name into Liverpool folklore - league title or not.

If - and for now it is still an if - he can finally get his hands on the holy grail that is the Premier League, Klopp's Merseyside immortality will be sealed.

Imagine a statue bearing that iconic smile going up outside Anfield - it surely is only a matter of time.
