Anthony Joshua has upped the mind games ahead of this Saturday’s rematch with Mexican-American fighter Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia by asking him a cheeky question during a face-off that happened following the press conference.Joshua cheekily asked the champion, “how do I beat you?” during a face-off overlooking the 15,000 purpose-built Diriyah Arena, which will play host to the fight on Saturday.Ruiz initially misheard the question, before answering: “Try to box me around…,” before Joshua broke off the conversation.Just proves how nice a guy Andy Ruiz Jr is. He was genuinely about to help his opponent with tactics to beat him.The champion also made an attempt at his own mind games. however, earlier on Wednesday in a face-off before the fight by wearing a New York Knicks jersey.

This was intended to serve as a reminder to the British boxer of their encounter back on June 1, that Ruiz Jr won via knockout in the seventh round at Madison Square Garden.

He was wearing the very same jersey in the build-up to that fight, so he'll be hoping it becomes his lucky charm.

Ruiz Jr said: “I am happy people noticed the jersey that I wore. It means a lot because it was where I got my first victory on June 1 and that’s why I bought it.

Watch AJ ask Andy Ruiz how to beat him below.

“I wore it to remind myself that I am the champ, I won June 1 and that’s exactly what we are going to do on December 7.”

The former champion Joshua said that he would not celebrate becoming the two-time world champion if he wins on Saturday, because he feels it's where he belongs.

“It’s not a time to celebrate. It’s a time to keep the challenger’s mindset and move onto the next target.

“One by one, I’m picking them off and Ruiz is just the next on my list.”
