We're just over a week away from WWE's last pay-per-view of the year, TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, but the company is yet to announce any matches for the show.

In recent years, WWE has rarely got this close to a pay-per-view before announcing the full list of matches for the show, let alone just one to get fans talking.

While the Target Center has promoted several matches for TLC, WWE is yet to officially announced any matches for the show.

The reason behind this unusual booking decision is because of WWE Network sign-up patterns, according to the Wrestling Observer.

Dave Meltzer has reported, via Wrestling Inc, that Vince McMahon doesn't feel there is a need to rush things when it comes to announcing the card as there's an influx of people signing up to the network on the day of the show rather than before it takes place.

While there's little debate over the network patterns, surely those fans that have bought tickets to see the show live must be frustrated as they don't know officially what matches they're going to see.

The Target Center has advertised three matches for TLC, but these are yet to be confirmed by WWE.

The matches advertised by the Target Center are The Kabuki Warriors vs Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a TLC match, Bobby Lashley vs Rusev, and Roman Reigns vs Baron Corbin.

Other matches rumoured for TLC include:

  • Aleister Black vs Buddy Murphy
  • The Viking Raiders vs The OC for the Raw Tag Team titles
  • Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan (or possibly The Miz) for Universal title
  • Shinsuke Nakamura vs Braun Strowman for Intercontinental title
  • The New Day vs Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler for SmackDown Tag Team titles
  • Randy Orton vs AJ Styles
  • Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens

It looks as though the days of WWE selling a show weeks before it takes place are behind us as they no longer have to worry about pay-per-view buys when the major money is being made off the network.
