Duncan Ferguson guided Everton to a 3-1 victory over Chelsea in his first game as interim boss. The Toffies legend has stepped in for Marco Silva, who was sacked on Thursday evening. He's made an instant impact in the dugout too, a goal from Richarlison and a Dominic Calvert-Lewin brace sunk a high-flying Chelsea side at Goodison Park. A consolation strike from Mateo Kovacic wasn't enough to save Frank Lampard's side from their third defeat in four Premier League games. The hosts came straight out of the blocks and were ahead within five minutes when Richarlison headed in from a brilliant Djibril Sidibe cross. Check out the first goal below:

Chelsea settled into possession and threatened an equaliser, but Everton went into half-time with the lead.

Within four minutes of the re-start, the Toffies were 2-0 up thanks to a smart finish from Calvert-Lewin.

You can see that strike below:

Their 2-0 advantage didn't last long though, as Kovacic fired a brilliant effort into the bottom corner from outside the penalty box.

His strike evaded a number of bodies before hitting the back of the net.

The Blues pushed for a second but were unable to equalise. Mason Mount wasted a great opportunity, while Cesar Azpilicueta also forced a good save from Jordan Pickford.

Calvert-Lewin secured the win after a comedy of errors allowed him to poke the ball past Kepa Arrizabalaga in the Chelsea goal.

Three points for Everton pulls them out of the relegation zone and up to 14th place, while the Blues will remain in fourth at the end of the weekend, whatever the results elsewhere.
