Son Heung-min has scored a stunning solo effort for Tottenham.

The forward picked up the ball on the edge of his OWN box, beat eight Burnley players on his run towards goal, before slotting past goalkeeper Nick Pope.

Absolutely brilliant stuff.

Check it out below:

That is world-class. It was actually the third goal of the game, with Harry Kane and Lucas Moura scoring inside 10 minutes to give Spurs a commanding lead.

But nobody was expecting Son to add a third in such spectacular circumstances.

Jose Mourinho is already starting to transform this team it seems.

Spurs went into half-time 3-0 up and since the Special One arrived, they have won three out of four games.

It's almost inevitable they will pick up win number four against Burnley, barring a ridiculous second-half turnaround.

Mourinho was full of praise for Son when speaking earlier this week, as he reacted to the forward winning the Asian Player of the Year award:

"I want to congratulate Son," he said.

"It’s the third time in a row he’s Asian player of the year. I am in love with that guy, so I imagine the people that are here with him four or five years… fantastic boy."

With the ability to score stunning goals like the one against Burnley, it's easy to see why a player like Son is the manager's dream.

But will Mourinho be able to pull his team into the Champions League spots this season? Judging by Tottenham's performance against Burnley, don't count it out.
