'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt is one of the most over characters in WWE today, and there isn't much about the character which WWE fans don't like.

The eerie and mysterious character of The Fiend has gone down well with WWE fans as it reminds them of past mysterious personas like The Undertaker and Kane.

However, if there's one thing about The Fiend which fans don't like, and some fans actually hate with a passion, it's the red lights which come on during his matches.

The red lights have been a feature of The Fiend since he faced Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at Hell in a Cell back in October.

Many fans don't like the red lighting as it makes it difficult to view the match. Seth Rollins even said on WWE Backstage this week that the red lighting made it tough to see during his matches with The Fiend.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, via Cultaholic, Wyatt himself isn't a fan of the red lights during his matches either.

Meltzer also offered a solution to the issue. He suggested WWE should edit the picture for fans watching at home by making the match appear red, but still keeping it under usual conditions for fans and superstars inside the arena.

Yet, despite the complaints by fans and superstars alike, WWE has kept the red lighting during The Fiend's matches.

WWE fans have only seen The Fiend in one match without the red lighting effect, and that was his first match against Finn Balor back at SummerSlam.

Rollins said when discussing his Hell in a Cell match with The Fiend on WWE Backstage earlier this week: "First of all you’re in this dark red. The cell is also red and you’re trying to navigate the edge of the cell. It was a mess.

"It was very difficult to deal with, especially with not knowing it was going to happen. I for one am not a fan. I feel like it affects my performance personally.”

Fingers crossed WWE doesn't use the red lighting for Wyatt's match vs The Miz at TLC next weekend, and they shouldn't since it's Wyatt, not The Fiend, that is advertised for that match.
