Son Heung-min scored arguably the best Premier League goal we’ve seen so far this season against Burnley on Saturday afternoon. The Tottenham forward, who had netted four goals and registered eight assists in England’s top division prior to this weekend’s fixture, ran the length of the pitch, beating a host of opponents in the process before sticking the ball past Nick Pope in the Burnley goal.It was a magnificent individual effort from a player who has lit up the Premier League over the past couple of seasons.Spurs ended up winning the match 5-0, with Harry Kane helping himself to a brace, and Lucas Moura and Moussa Sissoko bagging the others. But Son’s goal was undoubtedly the highlight of the afternoon.

While you may have already watched the goal - multiple times if you’re a Spurs fan - you *have* to watch (well, listen) to the version from Korean TV.

Son is obviously a hero in South Korea and commentators lost their minds after watching the 27-year-old’s latest goal.

Superb.

They couldn’t contain their excitement and who can blame them?

Son is unlikely to ever score a better goal.

Former Spurs striker Gary Lineker echoed the sentiments of many football fans when he tweeted: “Wow. Son has just scored one of the greatest individual goals you’re ever likely to see. Goal of the season, me thinks.”

Indeed, it’s going to take something truly remarkable to beat Son’s effort to the 2019/20 Premier League Goal of the Season award.

Following Son’s latest heroics, Spurs now find themselves in fifth position, six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

The north London outfit bounced back in style after their surprise 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United earlier this week.

And with Son and Kane on top form, a top-four finish is certainly a possibility.
