George Groves and Carl Froch have put their differences to one side since hanging up their gloves.

There’s no question that they disliked each other around the time they went head-to-head twice in the space of six months.

Froch beat Groves on both occasions (in November 2013 and against in May 2014) and the bad blood between the two of them was clear for all to see.

But over the past couple of years, they’ve found themselves working together as pundits for Sky Sports.

And animosity has made way for mutual respect - and perhaps, although maybe we’re going a bit too far here, even friendship.

The pair were on punditry duty once more on Saturday night for the heavyweight rematch between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia.

And there was a bizarre moment during an interview with iFL TV when they got into a pretend scrap while stood ringside.

Towards the end of the joint-interview, iFL TV presenter Kugan Cassius asked them: “You two are cool, yeah?”

Groves then reacted by grabbing Froch in a rugby tackle before the two of them began to pretend scuffle.

Tony Bellew joined in on the joke, breaking them up while shouting: “There’s no money involved! There’s no money! Wait until we’ve got some more money!”

“I’m alright, I’m alright!” Froch can be heard saying on the interview.

He then points at Groves before walking off.

These two are rapidly becoming boxing’s equivalent of Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher - two former rivals who are now a hilarious double-act.

However, Cassius wasn’t certain whether the two of them were actually joking on this occasion.

He said on Twitter that he was “50/50” at the time whether or not they were being serious.

It certainly seemed friendly, although we’re not quite sure that Froch appreciated it.

Bellew certainly saw the funny side, though, and happily took centre stage to make the moment even funnier.
