Anthony Joshua returned to winning ways with a stunning victory over Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.

Joshua produced an absolute masterclass to outbox the man who had knocked him out in their first bout in New York.

Ruiz simply couldn't get a foothold in the fight as Joshua utilised his jab to perfection, keeping the Mexican at bay for all 12 rounds.

In the end, Joshua would win by unanimous decision, with all three judges resoundingly giving him the nod over Ruiz.

Now, all eyes will turn to his next fight, with the boxing world baying for Joshua to take on the winner of the titanic Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder rematch in February.

However, it seems that Fury and Wilder will have to wait after Joshua was ordered to fight either Oleksandr Usyk or Kubrat Pelev by the WBO.

Whoever he may settle on, Joshua is set for a return to the United Kingdom, with the spectacular Tottenham Hostpur the favourite venue to host his homecoming.

According to promoter Eddie Hear, Tottenham were very interested in hosting the Ruiz bout before Saudi Arabi came in with a blockbuster offer that simply could not be turned down.

Now, with Joshua keen to fight on home soil again, it looks like the new stadium could be the venue of choice.

He will now have to choose between the mandatory challenges of Pelev and Usyk before he can finally take on the heavy hitters that are Fury or Wilder.

Speaking on a potential bout with knock-out merchant Wilder, Joshua said:

"This is the one I've wanted for a long, long time.

"It has to happen one day."

Well, it might not be happening soon but it does look like it will happen one day.

It's a good thing we have the Fury, Wilder rematch to keep us occupied for now.
