After weeks of it being teased, Seth Rollins finally made an alliance with the Authors of Pain on WWE Raw this week on Monday night. On this week's Monday Night Raw, Kevin Owens was on the search for AOP to get revenge for their attack on him last week.Later in the show, Seth Rollins challenged the AOP to a match, but Owens came out instead. Owens questioned when they’d all attack him, as AOP rolled up to the arena. The Prizefighter, with a steel pipe in hand, stayed on the path that Rollins and AOP had an alliance with one another, but The Beastslayer denied the accusations and left the ring.Later in the night, Owens attacked AOP's van with a steel pipe, opening up the back doors to find a hooded person sitting in front of him. Before their identity was revealed though, the AOP attacked Owens.

With Owens beaten on the ground thanks to the AOP, the hooded person turned around in the van and revealed themselves to be Rollins, confirming the alliance between himself and AOP as well as his heel turn.

The Beastslayer later cut a promo denying Owens' original accusation, telling the crowd they too jumped on the bandwagon with the liar that is Owens.

The former Universal Champion told the crowd: “Once again, the truth is not good enough for you. So tell me, in 2019, what is good enough for you people?!?”

Rollins called the alliance a 'self-fulfilling prophecy' that turned 'fiction into fact,' and finished by saying: “It has turned me to stand side-by-side with the AOP.”

Fans had been speculating for weeks that The Beastslayer was going to turn heel soon as his face run was going stale.

With WrestleMania season just around the corner, aligning with the AOP has come at the right time for Rollins, as now he has a fresh direction entering one of WWE's most important times of the year.

It wouldn't be surprising if the first of what will likely be many Rollins vs Owens matches is booked for TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs this Sunday.
