Adidas have released a remake of the iconic red Predator Mania from 2002.Undeniably the most iconic boot of the 21st century, Adidas have put out a few remakes recently in various colours. They were made famous by some of the biggest names in football showing them off on a weekly basis - most notably David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane. The three stripes down the side, the fold-over tongue and rubber on the instep; they're boot-perfection, really. And the red version might be the most sought-after, though, as it is arguably the best looking of the bunch.

It makes absolute sense that Adidas would remake them as part of the 25th-anniversary celebrations for the Predator line.

They've been slightly modernised and look a bit sleeker than the originals but they're still unmistakably the boot everyone loved.

The tongue, stripes, and rubber are all here in the brilliant red and silver.

Beckham is even back to model them and, honestly, who could possibly be better to do just that?

They're pricey, however, setting you back £300 for what is effectively a football-boot nostalgia trip but if you've got that money to spend on boots, you probably won't find better.

It might not be your only option, though - if you're willing to wait.

FootyHeadlines.com claim that more original Predators will be released next year, this time in 'Japan Blue'.

It couldn't really get much better, honestly.

If there's any boot in history that could get remade and re-released, you can bet people would pick the classic Predators.

Hopefully, there's even more to come. Champagne, anyone?
