Kingsley Coman has had an awful time with injuries in the past. And he is set to have another lengthy spell on the sidelines after going off with a horrific looking injury vs Tottenham. The night started off well for the Frenchman as he netted the opening goal of the game after 14 minutes. But he would be taken off 10 minutes later after falling over with no opposition around him just 10 minutes later. The Frenchman looked to have hyperextended his knee as he propelled into the air.

Watch it below:

And there's a clearer image showing just how bad the injury was...

Players from both sides immediately rushed over to Coman and he looked in some discomfort on the ground.

It's no surprise that the 26-year-old could not continue and he was swiftly replaced by Thomas Muller.

Fortunately, he did manage to walk off with assistance from medical staff, which almost seems like a miracle.

In 2018, Coman missed 34 games for Bayern due to injury. And he gave a heartbreaking interview last December saying he could retire if the issues continue

"It was a very difficult year," Coman told TF1, per Goal. "When I hurt myself, it was the end of the world for me.

"I hope I don't have to relive what I've been through, enough is enough. I will not accept a third operation – it will mean maybe my foot is not made for this level.

"I will then lead another life, an anonymous life."

We hope the injury isn't as serious as it looks and he's back to playing soon.
