Group D could have been potentially tricky for Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus in the Champions League.Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Lokomotiv Moscow posed a tough threat but it was one that the Old Lady eased through with five wins and one draw. They rounded off their group stage on Wednesday night with a routine 2-0 win away to Leverkusen.Cristiano Ronaldo notched his 128th goal in the competition before Gonzalo Higuain added a second late on.It was a trouble-free evening.

That was until after the final whistle.

At full-time, a fan sprinted onto the pitch in the hope to get a selfie with Ronaldo.

However, it really didn’t go to plan.

As he grabbed the Portuguese superstar around the neck from behind, a steward pulled him away leaving Ronaldo almost tumbling down to the ground.

It clearly shocked him as he showed his anger towards the fan before walking away holding his neck.

We can’t imagine he got a very good selfie…

Of course, it's far from the first time a fan has ran onto the pitch in an attempt to get a picture with Ronaldo.

In fact, during the last night's game Ronaldo posed for a picture with one fan that ran onto the pitch.

He's usually more than willing to oblige and has even previously told stewards to leave the fan in question so he can get his desired picture.

But perhaps grabbing him by the neck from behind isn't the best way to ask Ronaldo for a picture.

You can hardly blame him for reacting the way he did.
