UFC fans will certainly get their money’s worth this weekend when UFC 245 emanates from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.Three championship bouts are scheduled for the main card where The Nigerian Nightmare Kamaru Usman will defend the UFC welterweight championship against Colby Covington in the main event.Usman is undefeated in UFC and has won all eight of his fights stretching back to December 2015.Max Holloway will defend his UFC featherweight championship against Alexander Volkanovski, who defeated Jose Aldo last time out at UFC 237.In the third championship fight, Amanda Nunes will defend the UFC women’s bantamweight championship against Germaine de Randamie.

Nunes, of course, has conquered Ronda Rousey and, in her previous fight, Holly Holm with a first round TKO at UFC 239. Let’s not forget her UFC 200 win over Miesha Tate that won her the UFC women’s bantamweight championship and also the UFC Performance of the Night back in July 2016.

Nunes has lost just once in her six-and-a-half year UFC career, at the hands (and elbows) of Cat Zingano in September 2014.

Also slated for the main card is the all-Brazilian bantamweight affair between Marlon Moraes and Jose Aldo. The latter of which, who could forget, was knocked out inside 13 seconds by Conor McGregor four years to the day.

In another bantamweight clash, Petr Yan, who is undefeated in his five UFC bouts, takes on 40-year-old Urijah Faber in only his second fight in three years.

Faber won the UFC Performance of the Night in his return to the Octagon in July 2019 with a TKO win over Ricky Simon in Sacramento inside 46 seconds.

That’s not all, folks! The preliminary cards have some tasty action, too.

Two all-American bouts are scheduled for the Preliminary Card with Geoff Neal fighting Mike Perry and Matt Brown facing Ben Saunders, both in welterweight action.

Santiago Ponzinibbio was expected to face former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler at UFC 245, but Ponzinibbio was forced to pull out of the event with a staph infection.

All in all, 13 fights are scheduled for the December 14 card.
