After Anthony Joshua reclaimed his heavyweight belts in the victory over Andy Ruiz Jr on Saturday, it’s likely that he will face Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk next.

Usyk reigned as the undisputed cruiserweight champion from July 2018 until he vacated his titles in March 2019 in order to step up a division to tackle the big boys of boxing.

In the process of dominating his opponents, he became the first cruiserweight in history to hold all four major world championships - the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO titles.

The 32-year-old made his heavyweight debut earlier this year, defeating Chazz Witherspoon in round 7 after the American's corner threw in the towel.

Up next for Usyk could be none other than AJ - a big test for only his second fight in the heavyweight division.

The WBO has also called for Joshua to face Usyk, the WBO's mandatory challenger, within 180 days, and president Paco Valcarcel told Sky Sports how the 'first step' would be ordering talks 'between the parties'.

However, there has already been a simulation of the fight on YouTube thanks to a channel called 'Boxing Fight Simulations.'

The video uploaded to YouTube is a simulation of how the fight might play out, and it's done on the video game Fight Night Champion.

And if the simulated fight is anything to go by, we're going to be in for a real treat come fight night whenever they do share the ring.

As you can see from the video, both fighters tasted the canvas, but it was the Brit who got the job done in the end.

It ultimately ended in a sixth round KO to decide the fight with a nice combination from AJ.

It looked to have nearly been a fifth round KO for Joshua after he landed one of his humungous uppercuts, that nearly took Wladimir Klitschko's head off his shoulders back in 2017, but Usyk stood his ground and persevered for at least the rest of the round.

If this simulation is anything to go by, it will see AJ retain his titles and would see him extend his professional record to 24 wins in 25 fights.
