But they couldn’t have been anymore wrong. In a thrilling nine-minute spell, United scored four goals, with teenage sensation Mason Greenwood grabbing two.
The teenage star also earned the penalty which saw Juan Mata covert to make it 3-0 on the night, with Ashley Young opening the scoring for the Red Devils.
