Another UFC card is in the books and just before Christmas, all fight fans were given an almighty treat and early present.

The preliminary cards were full of action, and then the main card itself truly didn't disappoint, with one new champion crowned, and two others successfully being defended.

Amanda Nunes was the first to retain her title, proving that she's arguably the greatest ever woman to step foot inside of the Octagon, with a CV to prove it as well.

However, it wasn't the same for Max Holloway as he couldn't defend his title, losing his crown thanks to the judges' scorecard after five gruelling rounds against Alexander Volkanovski.

So after two title defences and two differing results, all eyes then turned to Kamaru Usman, who was defending his welterweight championship in the main event against American Colby Covington.

The fight went the full five rounds, but it was stopped just before the final bell, with the champion getting the job done and forcing the official to intervene.

It was one hell of a scrap, with fight fans on Twitter simply losing their mind at what they had witnessed, but it was one moment in particular that stole the spotlight.

Earlier on in the fight, Usman landed a sweet shot to Covington's jaw. So sweet in fact, it broke it!

Unsurprisingly, footage of the punch has been uploaded to Twitter, and a slow-motion version has emerged, and once again unsurprisingly, it's very brutal!

Watch it in the clip above.

Ouch! Covington's certainly going to be feeling that one in the morning!

Overall, UFC 245 was one hell of a night. It had action, it had drama, it had title defences and title changes.

However, it was definitely a night for Nunes and for Usman.
