Arsenal were abysmal in the first half of their Premier League match against Manchester City but no player summed up their woes more than Matteo Guendouzi.

The Frenchman has his admirers but he was not up to the task at the Emirates on Sunday.

Guendouzi should have been booked for an embarrassing dive and was also guilty of failing to track back as Man City raced away in the 15th minute to make it 2-0.

Arsenal couldn't afford to have any below-par performances against the defending champions but unfortunately, they're getting one from the 20-year-old midfielder.

First up, his abysmal effort as Kevin De Bruyne teed up Raheem Sterling to double City's lead.

Freddie Ljungberg has every right to be furious with the youngster.

And then look at his pitiful dive. How he escaped a yellow card is anyone's guess.

Unfortunately for Arsenal, there's still another half of football to go.
