Tyson Fury's career as a professional boxer may be ending in 2020.The Gypsy King is scheduled to fight Deontay Wilder in a highly-anticipated rematch on February 22 for the WBC heavyweight strap. If Fury were to beat the Bronze Bomber in Las Vegas, there is potential to setup an all-British super fight with fellow champion Anthony Joshua. It would be two of the biggest fights in boxing history, but that would likely be it in the four-cornered ring for Fury. Why? Because the Manchester-born fighter wants to move into the UFC.

Speaking to talkSPORT, boxing analyst Spencer Oliver declared that Fury will seek a move to Dana White's sporting phenomenon when his current boxing contract expires.

Fury has two fights left on the contract.

“Tyson told me he’s got 2 fights left in his contract, then he done with boxing," Oliver said. “He said he’s going into UFC.

“It’s a new start, it’s a new challenge for him. He was being deadly serious.”

Fury has teased a move into MMA a number of times the past few months, calling out current UFC heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic.

The lineal champ has also been pictured training with countryman Darren Till, adding more fuel to the fire of rumours about a switch.

Even White has got in on the action, declaring that he would love Fury to make the switch as soon as possible.

"Right now I see him as the best in the world or one of the best in the world," White said.

"He'll play out the fights with all the other guys right now... I'd love to have him over here to fight...I'll see how it all plays out. But I do like him."

It sounds like it's well on the cards and it will be a sad day for boxing, with Fury not only one of the sport's great character, but one of the heavyweights of all time.
