WWE travelled to Minneapolis for their final pay-per-view of the year, and for the 11th year in a row it was Tables, Ladders and Chairs that was closing not only the year, but this time the decade.Unfortunately though the final moments left WWE fans confused and angry, and it was something that overshadowed the whole main event between four talented women. In that final match of the night, Asuka and Kairi Sane defended their Women's Tag Team Championships against the duo of Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, and they endured a gruelling TLC match. The bout seemed to end with a whimper after Asuka pulled Lynch off of a ladder that had a rope attached to it, leaving the Japanese star a free path to reclaim her belts from above the ring - but an audible may have been called as Kairi Sane seemed to be concussed halfway through the match. After the match though, a huge brawl started in-front of the WWE fans between many male superstars, led by Roman Reigns and King Corbin.

Earlier in the night, The Revival and Dolph Ziggler assisted Corbin to a victory over Reigns in the other TLC match on the card.

Not long after, they were all fighting backstage, along with the New Day, Shorty G amongst others, and that's the fight that continued as the show went off the air.

The closing pictures showed Reigns Spearing Corbin off a platform onto a whole host of fellow superstars, overshadowing the women's performances for no apparent reason.

There were some good moments on the card though, starting with Kofi Kingston and Big E successfully defending their SmackDown Tag Team Titles in a Ladder match against The Revival.

Kofi once again pulled off his high-flying tricks like he always does in these matches, whilst Wilder and Dawson proved they're no flippers as they lost yet again to the dynamic duo.

Another great match saw Buddy Murphy and Aleister Black finally get it on after weeks of antagonising.

Black seemed to suffer a broken nose early on in the match, but it was the Dutchman who ended the Aussie's undefeated streak with a brutal Black Mass.

Also, Bray Wyatt's Firefly Funhouse character made his first in-ring appearance by defeating The Miz in a non-title match, but the post-match antics saw the return of Daniel Bryan with a new look - you can read more about that here.

It looks like we finally got a pay-off to the long-running feud between Rusev and Bobby Lashley as they FINALLY locked horns for the first time in a Tables match.

The match wasn't anything to shout home about though, as some predictable Lana interference distracted Rusev, which helped Lashley send his rival through a table for the victory - many are hoping this feud is over.

The final match on the main card saw The Viking Raiders - Raw Tag Team Champions - issue an open challenge for their belts, and it left many fans who wanted The Usos to return disappointed.

Instead it was the team of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, and this bout ended in a double countout. It was basically a match designed to promote KFC, as the Raiders slammed Anderson through a Colonel-branded table post-match.

And finally on the Kick Off show, Humberto Carrillo defeated Andrade for the second time in a week, and it really looks like he and his manager Zelina Vega are going to part ways - which may be a terrible move by WWE.

So what was the general consensus on WWE TLC 2019? The initial reaction from fans is that it was just painfully average, with not many standout moments, and the ending left a bit of a sour taste in people's mouths.

It was interesting to note that a lot of stars were left at home for this event - Rey Mysterio, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Sasha Banks, Seth Rollins, just to name a few - none of them competed.

Maybe they all needed a break before Christmas, but the lack of star power was pretty evident in what was overall a very drab ending to WWE's year in terms of pay-per-views.
