WWE's final pay-per-view of the year has just happened, and superstars put their bodies on the line for the entertainment of the WWE Universe.

Tables, Ladders and Chairs is notoriously one of the most hard-hitting events, mainly due to the match stipulations that are usually on show.

This years instalment saw a Ladder match, a Tables match and two huge TLC bouts take place, with the main event of the evening being contested by the women.

12 months ago, Asuka, Becky Lynch and Kairi Sane competed in the first-ever all-women's TLC match for the SmackDown Women's Championship, which the Japanese star came out on top of to secure her first main roster title.

And earlier tonight all three women were competing again, but this time it was a tag team match.

Flair and Lynch reluctantly teamed up together to face Asuka and her tag partner Kairi Sane, and the collective item known as the Kabuki Warriors had their Women's Tag Team Title belts hung above the ring.

In 2019 the women of WWE haven't held back at all, and there were several hard-hitting spots in which you wouldn't have been surprised if they were injured and not just selling.

Unfortunately though, it looks as though Sane did get hurt during the match, and the first possible point was by far the most brutal.

With Charlotte and Becky both stood on top of the Spanish announcers table, both women swing the TV monitors off the table - and Flair's clearly connects with Sane's head.

As you can see at the bottom of the screen it wacks Sane at quite a force, something which either gave her a concussion or would have only helped to give her one later on in the match.

She not only took a nasty-looking slam to the ringside barricade, but Charlotte also gave her a Powerbomb through a table in which Sane struggled to get in position for.

At the start of that video, you can see Becky talking to Kairi whilst she is on the floor, and we can presume at this point she is injured, and the Powerbomb through the table moments later won't have helped her state.

We hope the Pirate Princess recovers well, and we may not see her in action now until 2020 with Christmas holidays just around the corner.
