Gareth Bale’s Real Madrid career is ending on a sour note but he’s not letting that get to him.

In fact, the Welshman seems to be mocking Madrid and the media as he nears his exit.

Bale caused an almighty stir when he celebrated Wales’ Euro 2020 qualification with a flag that read: ‘Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order.’.

Real Madrid supporters didn’t enjoy it one bit and he was jeered when he came on against Real Sociedad last month.

How did he react to the Bernabeu’s boos? With a big grin on his face.

The 30-year-old decided to step it up a notch by practicing his golf swing during a recent training session.

But Bale wasn’t done with trolling the biggest club in the world, as he showed on the bench in Sunday’s draw against Valencia.

Bale sat alongside Casemiro and Eder Militao and the trio had a lot of fun.

At one point, the former Tottenham man began to attempt the bottle flip challenge, attempting to land a bottle much to his teammates’ amusement.

Another clip showed Bale laughing as Miltao started shadow boxing.

Bale actually came on to play 20 minutes as Los Blancos secured a point thanks to Karim Benzema’s late equaliser.

The winger has been used sparingly by Zinedine Zidane lately but the Real boss insists he remains firmly in his plans.

“I don't think Gareth's role is less important now. I'm making my decisions, you know?" Zidane said, per Sky Sports.

"I made three changes during the last match and Gareth wasn't there. But Gareth is one of us, like always, he's here and I'm going to count on him.

"You need to know that I have 25 players and they´re all important to me. All of them."

A busy run of fixtures, including against Barcelona in El Clasico on Wednesday, will likely result in Bale seeing more action.

Although by the looks of things, he’d prefer to stay on the bench.
