Barcelona vs Real Madrid is now only one day away.
Football fans have been made to wait eight months for the sport's most glamorous fixture to return after their initial match was postponed because of political unrest in Catalonia.
However, thanks to some careful rearrangements, the two clubs will finally lock horns at Camp Nou and we've decided to breakdown their squads ahead of a potentially La Liga-deciding clash.
But instead of putting our necks on the line by ranking their teams subjectively, we've turned to the data and used Transfermarkt to uncover the latest values of all 48 players in their database.
With fees ranging from £4.50 million to £135.00 million, the list is guaranteed to cause controversy and you can see how every Barca and Real player shapes up in the rankings down below:
48. Moussa Wague (Barcelona) - £4.50 million
The 21-year-old is slowly starting to attract hype after making four senior Barcelona appearances, as well as 18 caps for Senegal, but has the lowest transfer value between both clubs.
47. Jean-Clair Todibo (Barcelona) - £7.20 million
Another youngster with just a handful of first-team appearances, there's no shame in being valued at more than £7 million when you were born two days before the turn of the 21st century.
46. Carles Perez (Barcelona) - £9.00 million
The fact Barca have so many players low down is credit to their faith in youngsters and Perez is one of the more experienced starlets, bagging his first goal for the club against Inter Milan last week.
45. Arturo Vidal (Barcelona) - £13.50 million
However, low valuations aren't just down to younger players and Vidal's price reflects his steady decline at 32 years old, despite remaining a valuable asset in Ernesto Valverde's squad.
44. Brahim Diaz (Real Madrid) - £15.30 million
Things haven't worked out for the ex-Manchester City youngster at the Bernabeu and his nondescript transfer value represents a season which has produced just four appearances.
43. Alphonse Areola (Real Madrid) - £15.75 million
Areola is admittedly on loan at Real, so Los Blancos couldn't recoup this fee as it stands, but this valuation seems a little harsh on one of European football's most underrated goalkeepers.
42. Neto (Barcelona) - £16.20 million
Speaking of 'keepers... we're a little unsure why Neto is rated higher than Areola, but it's easy to understand why the solid, although unspectacular, Brazilian commands a shoulder-shrugging fee.
=38. Federico Valverde (Real Madrid) - £18.00 million
By no means an insulating transfer valuation for a 21-year-old and this season has the potential to see Valverde's fee slowly climb after 16 first-team outings and two goals to boot.
=38. Mariano Diaz (Real Madrid) - £18.00 million
Mariano's time at the Bernabeu - which bafflingly saw him wear the number 7 shirt - seems doomed beyond repair and we're pretty sure Real would accept a discounted price just to boot him out.
=38. Nacho (Real Madrid) - £18.00 million
Nacho seems to be on the slide quicker than most in the Spanish capital, although injuries certainly haven't helped the situation, and a lack of game-time this season has seen his value nose-dive.
=38. Luka Modric (Real Madrid) - £18.00 million
In truth, Modric has been declining since his Ballon d'Or win and that, combined with his advancing age, makes it unlikely that any European clubs would pay in excess of £30 million for his services.
=33. Alvaro Odriozola (Real Madrid) - £22.50 million
We're not entirely sure four outings for Real this season and four caps for Spain are enough to lift Odriozola above the aforementioned Ballon d'Or winner, even if he is ten years the Modric's junior.
=33. Lucas Vazquez (Real Madrid) - £22.50 million
Almost 200 appearances for Los Blancos, no matter how unspectacular, is more than enough to attract a transfer fee like Vazquez's.
=33. Marcelo (Real Madrid) - £22.50 milllion
Even if you're one of the best full backs in the history of the modern game, father time catches up with everyone and Marcelo is unlikely to move within Europe when he eventually leaves Real.
=33. Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid) - £22.50 million
And on the topic of best defenders in a generation... we're inclined to think this valuation of Ramos is somewhat harsh as he continues to prove himself as one of Real's star players every season.
=33. Ansu Fati (Barcelona) - £22.50 million
The youngest goal-scorer in Barcelona's La Liga and Champions League history. For those facts alone, a valuation in this region is the least that Fati - who was born in 2002!? - deserves.
=33. Junior Firpo (Barcelona) - £22.50 million
And the fact that Firpo has the same valuation as his similarly-surnamed teammate shows that the Dominican Republic national, while talented, is further behind on his progression.
32. Carles Alena (Barcelona) - £27.00 million
One of the most talented products to emerge from La Masia in recent memory, you can expect Alena to rise in transfer value as his appearances in the first-team begin to snowball.
=30. Ivan Rakitic (Barcelona) - £31.50 million
Rakitic might be two years younger than Ramos, but something doesn't seem right about the Croatian - who has been linked with a Sevilla return - being valued higher by almost £10 million.
=30. Gerard Pique (Barcelona) - £31.50 million
We could make the same point about Pique. The gap between the pair of Spanish defenders seems far too wide when they continue to prove themselves as two of the world's best centre-backs.
=26. Ferland Mendy (Real Madrid) - £36.00 million
It's been a slow start for Mendy at the Bernabeu, but you can be sure to see him emerge as Marcelo's long-term successor if Zinedine Zidane continues to give him first-team chances.
=26. Rodrygo (Real Madrid) - £36.00 million
To arrive at one of the world's biggest clubs at age 18 and score six goals in your first 16 outings is more than enough to warrant a hefty transfer fee. We expect big things from Rodrygo.
=26. Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) - £36.00 million
A slightly tempered valuation considering his plus-30 age, but there's no doubting that Benzema is one of the world's best number nines and he's filled the Cristiano Ronaldo void with admirable ease.
=26. Nelson Semedo (Barcelona) - £36.00 million
Sure, Semedo might not go on to become the next Dani Alves, yet there's no reason to downplay almost 100 appearances for the Blaugrana before your 27th birthday.
25. Samuel Umtiti (Barcelona) - £40.50 million
Umtiti continues to be linked with clubs like Manchester United almost every transfer window and his valuation is getting increasingly realistic as his game-time at Camp Nou continues to fade.
=18. Eder Militao (Real Madrid) - £45.00 million
Another one of Real's expensive summer signings. Militao is slowly breaking into the first-team and will surely rise in value once he gathers experience playing alongside Ramos in the biggest games.
=18. Daniel Carvajal (Real Madrid) - £45.00 million
The world's best right-back at his peak, Carvajal has suffered a steady plateau since Real lost their grip on the Champions League, but can still command hefty price-tags in the transfer market.
=18. James Rodriguez (Real Madrid) - £45.00 million
There's so much talent in Rodriguez's boots, we just don't see it enough and Zidane's lack of faith in the Colombian could see this transfer value - which looks spot on - come into play next summer.
=18. Sergi Roberto (Barcelona) - £45.00 million
Roberto is good, but is he really £45 million good? The jury is out on this one despite over 250 outings and THAT goal against Paris Saint-Germain on his resumé.
=18. Jordi Alba (Barcelona) - £45.00 million
Nothing kills a transfer value quite like being in your thirties and this seems pretty harsh on Alba when he's only an Andrew Robertson away from being the world's finest left-back.
=18. Luis Suarez (Barcelona) - £45.00 million
We'd wager that a few clubs would still pay over this valuation for Suarez who, despite being 32 years old now, continues to score more than 20 goals a season with unerring consistency.
=18. Sergio Busquets (Barcelona) - £45.00 million
Arguably the most underrated player in football history and a man whose value has only risen since Xavi and Andres Iniesta kissed goodbye to the club.
17. Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid) - £49.50 million
After a wobbly first season back in Spain, it finally seems as though Courtois has got to grips with life at Real and the World Cup Golden Glove winner remains one of the best in the business.
=10. Luka Jovic (Real Madrid) - £54.00 million
Considering how catastrophic Jovic's first six months at the Bernabeu have been, it's credit to his remarkable season with Eintracht Frankfurt last year that he gets anywhere near the top ten.
=10. Marco Asensio (Real Madrid) - £54.00 million
Asensio might be spending the whole season on the treatment table, but the Spaniard has already achieved enough in his short career to command a transfer fee that would break most banks.
=10. Isco (Real Madrid) - £54.00 million
It feels as though the brakes have been slammed on Isco's career over the last couple of seasons and perhaps another European club should meet this valuation to get things started again.
=10. Gareth Bale (Real Madrid) - £54.00 million
The fact Bale seems completely uninterested in his Real career and is spending most of his time on the golf course might actually increase the competition for his signature and see this figure rise.
=10. Toni Kroos (Real Madrid) - £54.00 million
Expect Kroos' value to nose-drive when he hits that dreaded 30th birthday, yet his astonishing knack of maintaining a pass success rate of more than 90% will keep European purse strings loose.
=10. Casemiro (Real Madrid) - £54.00 million
One of the most robust and underrated players in the Real squad. Casemiro has played in more than 200 games for Real in a career that will always attract interest from Europe's biggest clubs.
=10. Clement Lenglet (Barcelona) - £54.00 million
This move from Barcelona initially flew under the radar; big mistake. There are quiet hopes that Lenglet could inherit the baton from Pique in Catalonia after a stunning debut season.
=7. Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid) - £63.00 million
You could argue that Vinicius has paled in comparison to his compatriot Rodrygo this season, but perhaps having made 30 more appearances has been enough to rouse rival clubs a little more.
=7. Raphael Varane (Real Madrid) - £63.00 million
Despite being a Champions League and World Cup winner, Varane's career never reached the individual heights it could have done. £63 million still sounds about right for the Frenchman, mind.
=7. Arthur (Barcelona) - £63.00 million
It's only natural that the successor to Xavi will command such an extravagant fee and the fact he's accumulated 56 appearances for Barca by the age of 23 is credit to his talents.
6. Frenkie de Jong (Barcelona) - £76.50 million
It's early days for De Jong at Barcelona, but he has already established himself as one of the club's go-to midfielders and has settled in better than his former teammate Matthijs de Ligt at Juventus.
5. Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona) - £81.00 million
Only Alisson Becker and Jan Oblak have a viable claim of being a better goalkeeper than Ter Stegen and the Germain recently proved his worth with an incredible display at Atletico Madrid.
4. Ousmane Dembele (Barcelona) - £90.00 million
You have to wonder if Dembele will ever meet the expectations pinned on him and £90 million seems a little generous considering his injury record and just 19 goals in 74 matches.
3. Antoine Griezmann (Barcelona) - £117.00 million
The World Cup winner might not have set the Camp Nou alight since his move, although seven goals and four assists is by no means a disaster, but he remains one of the sport's biggest names.
=1. Eden Hazard (Real Madrid) - £135.00 million
By Transfermarkt's parameters, Real actually snapped up Hazard for a cut-price and the Belgian has managed to increase in valuation despite finding the net just once in 13 appearances.
=1. Lionel Messi (Barcelona) - £135.00 million
The GOAT. Trust us when we say this valuation is mind-blowing for a 32-year-old, but it's pretty hard to contest when you're talking about someone with six Ballon d'Or titles and 600 career goals.
GIVEMESPORT's Kobe Tong says
The most important thing to remember here is that transfer value doesn't necessarily translate to pure quality. Ramos, for example, is far better than the 33rd best player from both squads.
The age of players has definitely made a massive impact, but I still believe that knocking the likes of Modric and Marcelo so far down the list is a little conservative from Transfermarkt.
However, let it serve as proof of Messi's majesty. Whereas most over-30s have been sent tumbling down the rankings, the Barcelona star finds himself clinging on to top spot in spite of his age.
Meanwhile, it also goes to show that Real actually got an incredible deal for Hazard.
Transfermarkt are often a little safe when it comes to transfer values, but the fact they rate him over £40 million more than Chelsea did proves Florentino Perez secured some pretty canny business.
And for that reason, I feel pretty confident that Hazard will move to the top of the podium once he settles in at the Bernabeu.
But sorry Eden, transfer value is the only metric by which you'll ever over-take Messi.
