Sharps sees red for Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury and Gillingham shared a 0-0 draw in npower League Two at New Meadow with Ian Sharps sent off for the hosts in the last minute for violent conduct.

Three goals in 12 minutes saw Bury overcome a 1-0 deficit to beat Crewe 3-1.

Shaun Miller put Alex ahead but a double by Kyle Bennett and a Ryan Lowe strike guided the Shakers to victory.

Port Vale won 2-1 at Aldershot, John McCombe and Marc Richards on target before Anthony Charles missed a penalty for the hosts.

Peter Vincenti pulled one back but Vale held on.

Southend and Northampton drew 1-1, John Johnson putting the Cobblers ahead before Barry Corr levelled.

Steve Kabba scored twice - one a penalty - in the first 15 minutes as Barnet beat Lincoln 4-2.

Mark Hughes extended the hosts' lead before two goals in three minutes at the start of the second half by Luke Howell and Ashley Grimes. Grimes then had the chance to equalise but he missed a penalty and Izale McLeod restored Barnet's two-goal advantage.

Accrington beat Torquay 1-0, Ian Craney on target although the Gulls played the second half with 10 men after Mark Ellis was dismissed for serious foul play.

Stuart Fleetwood scored twice as Hereford won 2-0 at Oxford, Gareth Evans scored a vital injury-time winner as Bradford enjoyed a 3-2 victory over Stockport while Stevenage thumped Cheltenham 4-0.
