Anthony Joshua returned to the summit of the heavyweight division by beating Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia on December 7, and now, all eyes are on what's next for the Brit.

AJ reclaimed four of the heavyweight titles by defeating Ruiz Jr on points after schooling the Mexican champion for the entirety of the fight. It really was a massive contrast from what went down in America in the summer.

However, with the rematch in the books and AJ getting his revenge, the question now is what is next for Joshua and the heavyweight division?

So what do we know already?

Well, we know Joshua has two mandatory challenges waiting for him next year. One is Oleksandr Usyk, who has recently stepped up into the heavyweight division, and the other is Kubrat Pulev, who was scheduled to fight AJ back in 2017.

Unfortunately for Pulev, injury prevented him from fighting and Carlos Takam took his place instead.

Fast forward two years, and it's looking more and more likely that it will be the Bulgarian Pulev who steps into the ring with AJ next, so with that in mind, a YouTube account has simulated a fight between the pair on Fight Night Champion.

'Boxing Fight Simulations' posted the video of Joshua vs Pulev, and you can watch went down in the video below.

The opening three rounds went by with not much action, both fighters exchanging blows, but neither landing anything significant. But that all changed in round four, when AJ dropped Pulev to the mat with a vicious right hand.

The Bulgarian challenger managed to survive that knockdown, but four rounds later in round eight, it was night night for Pulev.

AJ rocked him with a left before dropping him with a right to the body. Fight over. AJ wins via stoppage.

Anthony Joshua winning by knockout in the eighth? It could happen!
