This year has come and gone and showed us some great boxing fights.

Now, at the end of the year, it's time to look back at 2019 and remember some of the biggest knockouts that have taken place.

Luckily for us, a video has been uploaded to YouTube that highlights the 50 biggest knockouts of 2019, and it's safe to say the majority of them are very memorable.

YouTube account 'Motivedia – Boxing' posted the 14-minute video and since its release, it's racked up a staggering 540,000 views.

The full video can be seen further down this article, but let's look into some that were included.

Starting with Andy Ruiz Jr’s recovery from his knockdown vs Anthony Joshua. He was able to turn the fight around and knocked down one of boxing’s biggest names. With that, Ruiz Jr stunned boxing fans and took the IBF, WBA and WBO titles.

Elsewhere, Dereck Chisora knocked out Artur Szpilka, concussing him on his feet before pummelling him to the floor in the second round at a Matchroom fight night in London.

Up next there was another second-round knockout by Christian Bermudez on his professional debut vs Jonathan Conde, landing a venomous left punch.

Guillermo Rigondeaux made a triumphant return to the ring by knocking out Giovanni Delgado in the first round, which makes it one of the biggest boxing knockouts of this year.

It only took rising lightweight star Richard Commey two rounds to knock out Isa Chaniev, with that, claiming his first world title.

On the same night, Teofimo Lopez knocked out Diego Magdaleno in the seventh round, and remained undefeated.

Deontay Wilder landed a brutal knockout in the first round vs Dominic Breazeale. With that, Wilder retained his WBC heavyweight title. It was his 20th first-round knockout.

Another big knockout of the year is the third-round knockout that Callum Smith landed on Hassan N’Dam to defend his WBA super-middleweight world title. Smith made it 26 wins from 26.

Gennady Golovkin landed one of the biggest knockouts of the year during his fight vs Steve Rolls. It was a fourth-round stoppage. This was Golovkin’s first fight since the controversial loss to Canelo Alvarez.

This year produced some great fights and knockouts, let’s hope 2020 can live up to the expectations.
