Daniel Dubois knocked out Kyotaro Fujimoto in devastating fashion at the Copper Box Arena. It took the Greenwich-born fighter just two rounds to dispense with his opponent, who was left needing oxygen and looking in an awful state on the canvas. Dubois extended his unbeaten professional record to 14-0 and best of all, took his Japanese counterpart's WBC silver belt off him. Immediately after the fight, he took the opportunity to put his hat in the ring for future world title bouts. It's little wonder he is being tipped for great things in 2020.

The 22-year-old sent Fujimoto down twice, cutting his mouth on the first occasion after catching him flat-footed.

There was simply no coming back from the second.

The decisive moment can be seen below, alongside the slow-mo footage of the knockout itself.

There were worrying scenes surrounding Fujimoto as he looked to take the full force of 'Dynamite's' right hand.

"After the first couple of shots, I thought I would pace myself," Dubois said afterwards, per The Sun.

"I knew I had the power, I was confident about what I was going to do.

"I landed a sweet shot, and that was goodnight.

"If I keep collecting these nights belts, I won't be too far from a world title shot, I have to walk the path."

It was billed as 'The Fight Before Christmas' and it was Dubois' night unequivocally.

Frank Warren was seen speaking with Joe Joyce's manager Sam Jones in the aftermath, fuelling rumours that the former Olympian will be next on the agenda.

Whoever he faces next, keep your eyes on Dubois in the coming months - 2020 really could be his year.
